Applications are called from eligible candidates for the following position:
1. Communications Officer :- (01) (Full time)
a) A University Degree preferably in Communications, Journalism or any other related field acceptable to the relevant authorities of the University of Colombo;
b) Minimum of 3 years’ of demonstrated experience in the field of communications or journalism with special attention to social media campaign design and dissemination;
c) Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing innovative and creative communication strategies at the institutional/national level;
d) Demonstrated commitment to human rights and social values;
e) Existing relationships with media industry;
f) Desktop publication, including internet platforms;
e) A high level of oral and written communication skills in English language and one of the local languages (Sinhala or Tamil).
