Enhance technical knowledge in child care practice
Disseminating the knowledge of best practices in child care
Developing skills in child care practice

The Programme
The following areas will be covered in 30 hours period

♦ Understanding the child & childhood
♦ Child Rights & institutionalization of Children
♦ Child Vulnerability
♦ Role & responsibility of relevant authorities
♦ Alternative care institutions and care providing
♦ Professional skills of a care taker

Eligibility Criteria: Grade 09 or equivalent with 02 years field related work experience

Medium: Sinhala and Tamil

Teaching methods: Lectures, Discussions, Case Studies etc

Evaluation: Presentation

Course Fee: Rs.25, 000/-
