Applications are called for Master of Human Rights and Democratisation (MHRD)

Applications are now open for the Master of Human Rights and Democratisation (MHRD) Degree Programme. The course will provide an opportunity to study at the internationally renowned University of Sydney and one of the four following universities in the Asia Pacific Region.

  • Gadjah Mada University in Indonesia
  • Kathmandu School of Law  in Nepal
  • University of Colombo Sri Lanka


The Master of Human Rights and Democratisation (Asia Pacific Regional Programme) is an interdisciplinary intensive one-year postgraduate degree that reflects the inseparable links between human rights,democracy, peace and development in the region.  The programme is designed for mid carrier professionals and highly motivated undergraduates.

 

The degree offers students an unique opportunity to engage first hand with regional and international human rights issues and to interact with internationally renowned human rights academics, practitioners and experts.
